How It Works: Virtual Organizing

Curious about how the VIRTUAL ORGANIZING process works?
  1. Similar to working with us in person, we start with a free 30 minute phone consultation to answer your questions, tell you a bit about the process, and determine if we are a good match for each other.  Following that, we will send you a short questionnaire so we can better understand your organizing goals and how we can best support you. You will send us pictures of the areas you would like to work on beforehand so we can better understand the scope of the project.
  1. If all goes well, we set a date to get started. We will meet at the appointed time by video call (FaceTime, Zoom, Skype).  As your organizing coach I will help you with the basic process of sorting, purging, containerizing, placement, and removing discards. We will not make you get rid of anything you do not want to, but we will ask questions to help you make thoughtful decisions. For items that you no longer need, we can help you to create piles to donate, sell, responsibly recycle/repurpose, throw away, or give to family members if they are receptive to that option. During this time, we analyze and recommend new systems and offer space planning and product advice if needed. Finally, we’ll discuss how to maintain your newly organized space! We can put together a to-do list of things to work on between sessions. If questions arise in between coaching sessions, you may email us for advice. We will be respectful of your pace and keep you on track with your goals.

Virtual sessions can be scheduled for a shorter duration, even for just an hour. Some of our clients pay session by session while others opt for a discounted, prepaid package. We can discuss which option may be the best fit for your schedule and budget. To keep the momentum going we kindly request that you redeem all the hours within 4 months.

Your timeline and pace are carefully considered to make sure your goals are met. Rest assured, Get It Done LLC is insured and bonded.
