About

Vermont professional organizerSuzanne Lourie has spent her career helping families during times of transition. As a clinical social worker for two decades, and as an attorney prior to that, she recognized that times of change require adjustments and flexibility to make life run more smoothly. Over the years, she has helped many Vermont residents through a variety of life transitions. The process then hit close to home as she helped her own mother and mother-in-law through the downsizing and moving process. Through it all, she observed that organization supports success in all areas of life, but never more powerfully than during times of significant life changes.

Now, as a professional organizer, Suzanne helps people at all stages of life to improve their lives with thoughtful, deliberate planning and organization. She is passionate about helping people of all ages go through the organization process and creating systems that work for the individual. Her clients describe her as compassionate, authentic and patient, with a touch of humor to lighten difficult situations.

Suzanne is married and has two young adult children. She loves to stay physically active in all of Vermont’s seasons. She enjoys running, hiking, and cross-country skiing through sun and snow. She also loves to garden, knit and is an avid beekeeper.

In her spare time, she works with Therapy Dogs of Vermont and is currently raising an Australian Shepherd named Bodhi. She is active in her community, volunteering with the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Project and helping as a classroom assistant with the English Language Learning program for adults new to our country. She is also a team captain with the local Alzheimer’s Walk.

Suzanne is a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO), and earned the NAPO Specialist Certificate in Residential Organizing. She is also a member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) and earned Level 1 certificates in Chronic Disorganization, ADHD and Understanding the Needs of the Aging Client. Suzanne is a member of the Women Business Owners Network and is the co-coordinator for the Burlington chapter. She strives for continuing education to increase her knowledge and skills to better serve her clients.
